I think more questy and less mastery, though. There's a few other things that could use images too.

That's one. Also, the Campground, Cook, Profile, Messages, Pets, {Item,Skill,Spell,Equipment} Shop and Inventory. Preferences and News don't have images either, but that's probably fine for now.
It'd also be nice if the classes had images, it'd spruce up the initial screen quite a bit (especially for new players who don't have any characters made yet).
Also, I've been thinking about putting tiny thumbnails of items beside their names, in the Inventory, stores, when found in battle, etc. I haven't tried it yet though, I need to experiment with sizes and see how it ends up looking.

I've been trying to do some drawings of the pets I have. I'm having trouble getting the lines of the drawing look real dark and the paper real white. maybe someone with some photo-editing knowledge could try something on these though. or maybe I could try drawing them again with a really dark pencil or something. anyway they're on my flickr page:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/benpaulthurston/
if you have a minute there's all my sculpture and painting stuff on there too.

Those drawings are pretty good. As for digitization, typically they need to be scanned instead of photographed, then they're "cleaned" to remove excess paper colour.

With either a scanner or a good quality digital photo, you can use
The Gimp to tidy things up.
See how
Here.
Or, for about $100, you can get a Wacom digital tablet and draw directly into Gimp (with practice).

Does the resolution of the picture have to be exactly so wide and so tall? I tried to get them close to 280 by 350 which was what I was seeing on the site. The ghost is the best one for the site, maybe the other two are a little creepy, I was going for funny and missed and ended up somewhere in creepy. I won't be offended if you think they don't match up very well with what is already on here.

I agree the Ghost is the best of them. The other two are a bit creepy and possibly a little too disembodied.
I can put the Ghost up if you think it's ready, as soon as I figure out where I'm going to display it.
As for the resolution, it doesn't matter what size or aspect ratio you give me, they'll get thumbnailed (such that their largest dimension is no larger than 400px) automagically when I put them up. But in general, the bigger the better.

Sure the ghost is ready. So are these two more I did of the leprechaun and the blood sucking alien. I think they're a little more on theme. I had imagined when you look at the list of your pets and their levels they'd be clickable and show the thumbnail but however you want to use them is fine with me. the flickr site of mine is in the message above. thats where the new drawings are as well.

I quite like the new Blood Sucking Alien.
That's basically what I had envisioned too, but I need to put some other text in there too, but I have some ideas now...
