Stocking fees are only paid by the seller, not the buyer, in this case you're the seller. Having said that, I agree that in this case, the Market should take the stocking fee out of the gold you gain from the sale, if necessary and possible. While I can see both points of view, I've intentionally given the so called "windfall" items relatively low inherent value (most are food with fairly low nourishment). Certainly, it makes collecting a full set of items more difficult and in that way, harms those with OCD, but it shouldn't ...
