Dragons are wise?

Post by Will »

So, today the Wise Sage is mumbling about dragons:
Did you know that dragons are the wisest of all creatures?
I was hoping that this piece of advice would help me in completing a collection of the twelve Scrolls of Wisdom, but I've been killing dragons all day and I don't think I've seen a single scroll. Am I misinterpreting this hint?

I'd say you're on the right track.

Keep in mind that there are several dragon lairs. Only one drops scrolls (that I know of anyway).

There are three statements above. One is true, one is probably true, and one is false.

Not necessarily in that order either.

1. There are several dragons lairs
2. One is known to drop scrolls.
3. The others are "known to not" (should be: not known to) drop scrolls.

That a good logical breakdown?

Oh: Do any of the dragons lairs have falling platforms and timed jumps?

No. :P Strictly speaking, Evev's post does state #1, does not state #2 (it only states that at most one is known to drop scrolls), and does state #3.

Yes, but one of your pets can help with timed jumps.

Sorry for all of the above. I was provoked.

I was joking about timed jumps -- this is "Dragon's Lair", after all (video game).

But for real? I'll get there some day :-)
