[NOT A BUG] Apple pie bug? Eating food of higher levels?

I've cook an apple pie and directly ate it. Then, back to my inventory, it hadn't disappeared and was written in red because I'm not at level 14 yet. I've ate this apple pie, it really gave me 8% stamina, but after I fought one time my stamina was back to 0%.
So, maybe it's a bug?

I tried to reproduce this, but couldn't. I also had a look at the code, and I don't see how this would be possible. Are you sure that's what happened, and can you reproduce it?

Hello,
I tried but I can't reproduce it. Maybe I clicked on the recipe that was under the apple pie recipe and thought I ate the apple pie.
I feel stupid, now
