Game! - Where the stick is mightier than the sword!

I just started a (as yet, level 5) mage, and I admit I'm confused as to the purpose of Mana (since spells all seem to draw from MP, not Mana). Could someone explain Mana to me briefly? Thanks.

As the FAQ mentions, Mana is an indication of your magical powers, much like attack is an indication of your physical powers. Thus, higher Mana results in stronger spells, higher MP allows you to cast more spells before you rest again.

more spells before you rest again!? I'm out of magic after one fight when i use the good spells.
