20. Chances get higher as levels get higher.

yea i'm at level 28, still no sticks here either. i was starting to wonder if i was on the wrong track for this quest, but this thread has reassured me.
i'm just unlucky, yay!
*sigh*
EDIT:
to showcase my everlasting desire for a stick i have put up not one, not two, but FIVE dirty needles for trade! that's right, five dirty needles! act now and i'll toss in a kiwi as well! oh what a deal!

I made it to level 35 before I got my stick. What level does that quest start at, anyway? It felt like I leveled at least 7 times waiting for the stick to drop.

Slightly more than 7 levels ago... That quest starts at level 25.
