Any clues about becoming able to see while visiting the Misty Plateau area?
Already have a flashlight and darkness inhibitor.

Are you playing a mage? The Misty Plateau is only significant for Fighters (right now).

Hmm, something of wisdom (scrolls), and mathematical (combining).
And, the answer to the greatest question ...
Do you combine scrolls #6 and #9? That would be too silly even for this game.

They're not actually all necessary. If you don't already know the answer, you'll need to resort to acquired knowledge, which will require you to apply a mathematical approach (which in this case isn't combining).

Okay, so I'm a level 21 Fighter, I've given the answer, but every time I go to the Misty Plateau, I "look around intensely, but all I can see is mist." I have a flashlight and a Darkness Inhibitor, but I gather there's something else I need. Any clues as to WHAT?!?

There's an item in your inventory that wasn't there before.
Now, what said item is useful for is another question... but it is useful!

Hm. Thanks, I think I found it. I still don't have access to the Plateau, so I guess I need to figure out how to use it. Pondering....
